Privacy Policy — Quran Memorizer

01 Introduction & Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android mobile application Quran Memorizer: Hifz Tracker (Google Play package: com.quranmemorizeloop.app), developed and maintained by Addutech, reachable at contact@addutech.com.

This policy describes what data the App accesses, how that data is used, and your rights as a user. By installing or using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

This policy was written to comply with the Google Play Developer Policy, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable data protection laws.

02 Data We Do NOT Collect

Quran Memorizer does not collect, process, or transmit the following data types:

Personal identifiers (name, email address, phone number, username)
Location data (precise GPS location or coarse location)
Device identifiers (IMEI, Android ID, advertising ID / GAID)
Usage analytics or behavioural data sent to external servers
Crash reports or diagnostics sent to external servers
Audio recordings or microphone input
Contacts, call logs, SMS, or calendar data
Financial or payment information
Photos, files, or media from your device
Cookies, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting data
Health or fitness data
Browsing history or search history

03 Data Stored Locally On Your Device

The following data is stored exclusively on your device using Android's AsyncStorage (local storage). It is never transmitted to any server:

This data is automatically and permanently deleted when you uninstall the App. There is no account, cloud backup, or server-side storage.

04 Permissions Used & Why

The App requests only the permissions strictly necessary for its core functions:

Audio streaming requests are standard HTTP GET requests to a content delivery network. No user identifiers, device IDs, or personal data are attached to these requests.

05 Third-Party Services & SDKs

Quran Memorizer does not integrate any third-party SDKs, libraries, or services that collect or share data, including but not limited to:

Advertising networks (Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, etc.)
Analytics platforms (Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
Crash reporting tools (Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, Bugsnag, etc.)
Social login providers (Google Sign-In, Facebook Login, Apple Sign-In)
Payment processors (Google Pay, Stripe, etc.)
Push notification services (Firebase Cloud Messaging for user tracking)
Customer support trackers (Intercom, Zendesk, etc.)

06 Data Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any data with third parties because we do not collect any user data to begin with.

No data is shared with:

Advertisers or ad networks
Data brokers or analytics companies
Government or law enforcement agencies (we have no data to provide)
Business partners or affiliates
Any other third parties

07 Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The App is rated for users 18 and over on Google Play Store. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under the age of 13.

Since the App collects zero personal data from any user of any age, it is inherently safe for all ages. However, if you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@addutech.com so we can take appropriate action.

08 Security

All data generated by this App remains exclusively on your device and is protected by:

Your device's encryption (Android Full Disk Encryption / File-Based Encryption)
Android's application sandbox (other apps cannot access your data)
Your device's screen lock / biometric protection

Since no data is transmitted to any external server, there is no risk of a server-side breach related to your use of this App.

09 Your Data Rights

You have full control over your data at all times. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including:
